The FDA's Final Rules on Antibacterial Hand Soaps
On September 2nd, 2016, the FDA released long expected final rules on over-the-counter antibacterial wash products. Following an extensive review, the FDA concluded that 19 of the previously listed active ingredients, including Triclosan, were neither safe nor more effective than plain soap and water. Manufacturers of these products now have until September 2nd, 2017 to comply with the new rules.
Our company, established in the 1980s in Shijiazhuang, China, has been focusing on the development and production of various Microfibre products, including antibacterial wash products. We fully support the FDA's decision to ban these harmful ingredients as we have long believed in the effectiveness and safety of plain soap and water.
Plain soap and water have been shown to be as effective as antibacterial soaps in preventing the spread of infections. In fact, studies have shown that overuse of antibiotics and antibacterial products can lead to antibiotic resistance, making it harder to treat infections in the future.
At our facility, we take the safety and health of our customers seriously. All of our Microfibre products are made with high-quality materials, including plain soap and water. We are proud to say that our products are safe, effective and environmentally friendly.
As we approach the compliance deadline, we urge all manufacturers to comply with the new rules set out by the FDA. We believe that this is not only the right thing to do but also a necessary step towards protecting the health and safety of our communities.
In conclusion, we commend the FDA for taking a stand against harmful antibacterial ingredients in over-the-counter wash products. We are confident that our Microfibre products will continue to be effective and safe for all of our customers. Thank you for choosing our company.
